We have systemized the carbon inventory of domestic and overseas plants, and established the carbon emissions information system for each product. Requirement for CBAM information by the EU customers is responded through advice by the experts, and KOS put effort for establishing the system in accordance with the international ESG trend and regulations such as the Czech Corporation preparing for response to CSRD through the eco-friendly management consulting support project by the Ministry of Environment in 2023, and preparing the supply chain due diligence system through the 2023 supply chain consulting support project by KOTRA, etc.

 

Along with various corporation donation activities, KOS newly established the ‘Sharing Together’ program to start the support for encouraging the social activities by the employees, and also established the ESG committee in effort to establish the transparent and independent decision-making system with expertise throughout the overall ESG operation and management. In addition, internalization of ESG management is continued through continuous training and work discussion by the 7 divisions that are the entities of implementing the ESG management throughout the company.

 

There are no corporations relevant to the mandatory disclosure schedule other than KOSWIRE Czech Corporation, but as a result of continuing the efforts for performing ESG disclosure proactively and achieving the vision of ‘Continuously growing company challenging for environment and humanity’, KOS Ltd. in the KOS Group received the Bronze Medal through the EcoVadis Assessment in the 1st year, and Grade AA in the Shinhan Bank ESG Assessment (Q-ESG). Also, KOS Ltd. was introduced as the best case of responding to ESG among the small-medium / mid-sized enterprises.
